Dear HRMS Families,

Congratulations on completing the first full week of the school year! It has been such a joy getting to know your students. As a new principal to HRMS, one thing is already very clear to me: our students are kind, innovative, and proud to be Falcons. Watching them dive into their classes, try out for fall sports, and build new friendships has been a highlight of the week.

As some of you may have heard from your students, we did experience a few vandalism issues in the boys’ bathrooms. While this was disappointing, the way our students responded made me incredibly proud. After we addressed the issue over the intercom, dozens of students came forward to share what they knew. Their actions showed the pride they take in their school and their commitment to doing the right thing. Our Falcons are not afraid to speak up and support their community.

I also want to recognize and celebrate our student-athletes. We have record participation in fall sports this year, which is exciting to see. A special thank you goes to our coaches who dedicate their time and energy to creating these opportunities for students.

Wishing you a restful weekend.

Go Falcons!

Walk the Ridge

Help support the Harbor Ridge VPO with its Walk the Ridge fundraiser. All students will walk the track on Friday, September 26th in support of our school. The Harbor Ridge VPO is instrumental in supporting Harbor Ridge. Each year, we provide support to staff, students, clubs, and Staff Appreciation Week.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our school this year. Every donation, big or small, helps. Please create a page, donate, and don't forget to share it on your socials and with your family and friends.

The top-earning Primetime will win a prize - a donut or popsicle party.

There will be a prize for the top three earning students!
1st place will earn a $75 Target gift card
2nd place will earn a $50 Target gift card

Add the HRMS Playlist

Attention all Students: We need you to add to our Harbor Ridge Music Playlist! This playlist will be used often, including before school, in between classes, during athletic events, assemblies, and all sorts of other places. We need your help. Please send Mr. Hering (heringt@psd401.net) your suggestions of songs to add to the list.

There are only two criteria: 1.) They must be clean and appropriate for school and 2.) they must be bangers. If they are, we’ll add them to the playlist. Thank you!
